View Full Version : Over reving an engine

There is an article that was in the Motor Magazine on a 5.7L Hemi engine that was over reved.

They talked about performance chips and tuners that take some of the safety precautions out of the programming.

This is for those who are just learning and is some good general information.

Also they apparently used cheap oil and had an internal problem. Deposits come from improper additives and substandard quality.

kids? Hell we have people that come on this forum complaining about the 4k block in neutral on our programming. How retarded is it to rev in neutral in any situation, let alone to 4k and let alone to complain that you can t do higher. Why not go bang your nose up and down on a fence post? They both accomplish the same and the nose is cheaper to fix.
