Hey everyone I have gotten about 5 pm's a day about these ground breaking halos! Because there are so many color options we decided that in order to be able to make sure we know what people want we were going to do a group buy!

The Bullet series halos have two separate circuits which gives the ability to customers to pick two colors for their halos. These can be turned individually or by themselves.

This also allows our amber and white halos to be used as halos and turn signal simultaneously! When I say we are working on some cool stuff I was being serious! Our first set of this nature I currently out being tested and results will be shown shortly!

In addition we also have a wireless remote system that can be used to turn each circuit on and off via a wireless keyfob! This is very cool as it soves many issues with dual circuits!

If you would like turn signal rings you can either pick solid color or dual colors depending on what you want for an additional $25.00

If you would like to add a wireless remote that will allow you to wire each color to their own button please add $99.00

so you are saying that there isnt any gaps in the halos that can be seen from 10ft away?

i have the all green halos on my car. it is very difficult to take a picture to show the detail at night from far away. thats why you see a lot of close up images. Trust me when i say this... you can see them perfectly from far away. as for the gaps. I wouldnt worry too much about them. They are bright and blend the light in nicely!

very interested. i think im on the same page as you but just to clarify when you say turn signals is that a 3rd ring for the turn signals or is it the halos will actually go from white to orange when you put on a turn signal from your steering wheel? if they actually flash thats sick and ill definately get in on this group buy.

by looking like bullets do you mean like a revolver's spinning chamber loaded up with only bullet striker caps seen at the ends? i think thats what you mean by real bullets...

well, thread title says the group buy is over on the 30th.

yet no one has heard from steve for awhile now. kind of frustrating to have sent money and not have any recognition from the company. I really want these halos, and ive already stated that I was willing to pay just about anything for them to get them sooner than to wait on the group buy.

it is just plain bad business to take customer's money, then leave them in the dark. i would be happy with an update of whats going on, will there be an extension that is going to cause those of us that have already given you money to hafta wait another month or 2. I did get a response from one PM a few days ago that said the thread would be updated...it hasnt been, here-or anywhere else....

i love the idea of 2 colors, but if hes not going to make this happen, within a reasonable amount of time-im not sure im going to wait months and months for it. i mean, im offering to pay nearly whatever he would charge me, to get these before this group buy is over if hes going to extend it. I noticed your site has "forum group buy specials" or something like that but this isn't listed nor are the bullet series two color... OK, just talked to Steve on the phone and he seems like a stand-up guy that is very overloaded right now. We shall see but a lot of things are in the works and hopefully by mid-month he will have his new site up with a more official way to put down your deposit and or pay in full. He assured me they WILL produce these things regardless of additional turnout to the group but but I think he said there looks to be 8 people on board at this point. So at least post that you are definitely in even if you are like me and refuse to pay until there is a more official method available (been burned too many times, sorry) Steve is very accomodating, you can call him to arrange payment but remember he is busy so don't drive him nuts or it'll likely slow this thing down more by wasting more of his non-existant time. Let's give him a chance. It is still early in the month, I know days seem like weeks, I am anxiously awaiting something to happen too.... But group buys aren't for click, buy, next day air it to me instant gratification... They are to get a big order together to get a pretty good discount. Remember also that these are being custom made and won't be a regular stock item because of the nature of color combos. These things are in early stages of development, remeber when we couldn't wait to see the charger go from concept to reality.... The concept/prototype is in one of Danko's cars..... that's it, we are waiting for the first run to be ordered and we need this group buy to do that.

He'll be back. He's workin on other stuff too and he told me he would hit this hard by the last week of the month, that way everyone who is onboard should be known by then. He doesn't have time to update with changing shops, etc. So be patient and keep "tuned in" I think in about a week you'll see some action happening. He told me there were already 8 people about a week ago... So we should be sitting above 10 by now with the last few posts I imagine.

Ok Everyone. I have a little update. If you have already pre paid through Paypal please PM and let me know that you paid, what your email address is and what colors you ordered.

Now some even better news. We have gotten close to 100 PMs between Steve and I saying wanting to know what number were at because alot of people didnt want to do this unless it got down to the $129 mark. Well guess what, since the economy is not doing so well right now we have decided to DROP the PRICE!!! Everybody will getting these for $129 plus shipping now. We need all of you that said you would buy at the $129 mark to buy now though. You only have about a week or so to do it so dont delay.

For those of you that might want a full 6 ring kit, we will not be doing the turn signal with the bullet design unless their is a huge demand for it. You are still welcomed to get the 6th ring just in a solid color though. They will be an extra $25 per set.

Ok, deposit is do by the end of this month. For the 3 ring kit it will be a $75 deposit. Shipping to an APO address is the same as shipping to a US state with USPS so it wont be that much, unless they have changed that. I will have to double check with Steve for a price on shipping when he gets back into the office.

narias, unless AAC tones down those guage lights a lot-then no one is gonna buy them, seriously.... they are just way to bright and look a bit tacky and quickly thrown together, especially where you can see the two tube ends connect... dont get me wrong, they are a super cool idea.. its just that they look just to thrown together to quickly and almost like they said to themselves- oh i have and idea to get rid of our leftover ccfl tubes we have in stock.. lets just throw them in the guages... i can really only see those things being used on trailer queen cars that no one really ever drives.....

Now some even better news. We have gotten close to 100 PMs between Steve and I saying wanting to know what number were at because alot of people didnt want to do this unless it got down to the $129 mark. Well guess what, since the economy is not doing so well right now we have decided to DROP the PRICE!!! Everybody will getting these for $129 plus shipping now. We need all of you that said you would buy at the $129 mark to buy now though. You only have about a week or so to do it so dont delay.

For those of you that might want a full 6 ring kit, we will not be doing the turn signal with the bullet design unless their is a huge demand for it. You are still welcomed to get the 6th ring just in a solid color though. They will be an extra $25 per set.

The other forum has their own group buy since we just started over there. This groupbuy well end this month. Like already said, the 2 week turn around will be from when everyone pays in full. when did the headlight design change? i thought only the tails changed design... and if you just mean the low beam slot which is a real projector, then yes im pretty sure they will fit since there is a real nice red charger on here that has halos and the projectors... forgot the dudes name though, but its a nice charger with some black and red rims...

i just got my dual colored halos in today.. pre painted black boards and all... so far they seem great!!! gonna test them out later when i find a 9v laying around my shop or around my house... thanks so much Flashtech!!! steve and wes, you guys are always looking out for me down here in the dirty dirty south!!! love your stuff and plan to rock it to the fullest for you guys... of course im reppin flashtech allday and allnight to my peeps, what chu thought it wuz cuz? none of the solid colored business anymore, changing it up this time with the white/amber.... cant wait to install them.. gonna have to wait till the weekend though since it does take a few hours.. i also plan on painting my headlight housings all black and no more chrome bezel parts.....

Yes my car is black, the same way some people want green, white, red, blue halos....I want yellow since they say they will be offering it! Ever since they gave it as an option, I've said I wanted it. The color scheme I want for my car is black and yellow. I already did the white and amber combo with CCFL's and the amber was just too orange for me.

Now the problem that I have is that the group buy will be over by the time they finally get the yellow halos for sale...maybe they can work something out with me when it comes time to purchase my yellow/red bullet halos!! Now I know you're probably thinking, why dont you just put the deposit down for when they are made right....i wont do it for two reasons,

A) Actually making the true yellow color has been an ongoing process for at least the past month and a half (maybe)....whose to say they will ever be made. I have confidence that Flashtech will pull it off!! Only question is when??

2) I haven't seen the actual color either so who knows how yellow it'll be....when the amber CCFL's came out, they were actually labeled as yellow when I bought em so go figure!!

Hopefully, HOPEFULLY Steve and Wes can work with me on a price when they get the "yellow" up and running....I WOULD take advantage of the current group buy, but I just cant see putting money into a product that doesnt exist yet!!!

We had to change the design of the ring to fix the voltage issue. They still look and work the same so dont worry about that. Doing that has caused a bigger delay then expected. You guys have been waiting patiently and we really do appreciate that. We just didnt expect this voltage issue and we didnt want these custom made halos having problems so we had to address it and come up with a fix and then put it in place. I hope you guys can understand we want to give you the best possible product we can and in this case, for that to happen it took longer then expected.

I had also ordered Bullet Halo fogs so my question is this: Will the remote solve the issue for the heads and fogs, as well as control turning the both on/off? Will the remote control which colors to turn on/off? And now the questions that everyone has been asking...Any sign of when shipment will be?

Just got an e-mail response from Wes, as well as talking to him on the phone. Here's what the e-mail said: "The way you descibed the halos working is how they will with the remote. Its a 4 channel remote so you can plug 4 sources into it. In order to get your headlights and fog halos on there, you will need to run 2 wires connecting the green halos from both headlights and then another connecting the white halos from each headlgiht, then tap into that one and run that to the remote, this way you are only taking up 2 channel and you have room for your fogs. I'm sorry if I confused you, you can call me for a better explonation if needed."

In the phone call he said that he doesn't know of a shipment date as of yet, but it "should be soon". As to the regulator he said that you will only need one in order to run your dual color heads and fogs, each color independently. As to being waterproof, he said it is not, but they are "working on it"...

Hey you all. Orders begin to leave this past Friday. By the time the new regulators and resistors were delivered to us it was already kind of late in the day so I packed as many orders as I can in the little time and got to the FEDEX store around 5:10, and they said they should go out, last pickup was for 5pm. So for those of you that did not get to leave on Friday, you WILL be going on tomorrow.

Steve had to go out of town this weekend but my plan was to go in today and get everyone packed up and ready to ship out tomorrow BUT the main doors to our office building were locked and I only have a key to our actual office, not the main doors and of course no one else was there to let me in. So looks like i'm going in early tomorrow and not gonna have much time to be on the forums since I have alot of orders to pack plus about 5-6 sets of lights I need to pack and ship.

Everyone should preety much have their order by this weekend hopefully.

Yeah, finally got mine today... gotta rewire my control box that I posted on youtube for the multivoltage crapola... I feel bad for people not as technically inclined as myself. This is a fairly advanced project. Needs some refinement for anyy future sales I'd say but it really is cool for dual color... they really went the extra mile with this voltage regulator, kinda over the top since they are regulating to 12vdc then using resistors to bring voltage down.... could have been simpler but no faults for that.

If you haven't got yours yet, give them a call. They are real people and they will answer the phone.... I called them after recieveing an email saying my order shipped but tracking said otherwise and apparently I missed a PM or email or something telling me about a wireless controller that I needed.... They got it taken care of on the spot and got the package moving. So give em a call, they may be holding yours as well.... They seem to be good peeps though... This thing just took too long... Now my car is having electrical problems so I'm hesitant to do anything until I find out if it is going to be lemoned or not........ Sucks........ I really want to put these in.... I guess I'll have to hook my buddy DeekDaddy up first....

haven't really got that far yet.... I was thinking in the fuse box if there's room (08's are much more empty than 06/07) or I may put it inside the cabin which would certainly be better for the electronics... either find something to mount it to under the dash or put it in a box with my switches... I have to bench test it in a box and see if it gets too warm after being on full load for a few hours...
It is tempting to just have it under the hood with the remote fob system but even that little piece of electronics is best off inside the cabin...

Well, I'm still waiting on MINE! It'll be 2 weeks Wed since I PIF! I did finally get an e-mail back from Steve that he's looking for my turn signals. I guess I'll put them on next season, because it's time for winter storage. Hope I have them & they work by then.
