So I finally got around to getting my grill painted and got it back today. Like any other mod now that it was ready I had to get moving on the install. So I begin by removing my old grill and realize at some point that the only way to install this grill correctly would be to remove the front fascia from the car, something I really did not want to do but oh well here goes right? So I get it off the car, and what do you know Dodge decides to use like 10 one time use plastic rivets that you now have to figure out how to replace. No biggie, I can pick something up tomorrow at Lowes or home depot tomorrow. So far the grill itself looks great though.
Finally I get around to installing the cheap mesh that is provided by Mo. Wow what a pain in the rear that is and it cheapens the look of an other wise great looking grill. After waiting quite a while to order the grill as there was kinda a lot of discussion on this forum about it and whether or not anyone would receive the parts, due to the process of making the grills not to mention Mo moving or whatever there was the hey wait I am making a insert that is just like the one used on the RT/RT package that will fit in perfect....... So what ever happened to that because I have yet to see one installed on anyone's car.
Please don't get me wrong I love the grill, I just think the mesh leaves a lot to be desired, and now if I want to change it with something else I will have to once again remove the entire front end. Oh well, still an overall nice piece I just don't think I would purchase it again if I knew then what I know now.
And Mo if you ever do get that insert done please let me know, I would really love to see it on a car, I am sure it would really improve your grill.

Man, did you do any reading on this?
tons of threads out there about it.
The new inserts are already out, just PM Mo
As for the mesh, there are other options. I used a different mesh and it came out great.
Once the grill is installed you can change or add mesh without removing the front I would think.
Mo's pieces are all hand made, and fit pretty dang well. Most of the issues with his product come from people like me who do their own installs and do not do proper research.
I goofed up my lower insert because I did not contact Mo when I should have.
Call Mo and see if he can help you out.

I believe this is the first honeycomb insert installed, I posted it at the beginning of the month. It looks much better than the mesh and it was worth the wait. PM Mopower or toycrypt for a quote.

This looks tons better than the mesh that came with the grill. Like I said I like the grill just not the mesh. I will look into ordering the new insert once I get moved to Oklahoma from Hawaii in July. With the new insert will the stock style RT badge snap right in place?

Yes I read almost every thread on this prior to ordering as I wanted to see how they were coming out and learn from other peoples mistakes as far as all that went.
Also I never complained about the quality of the grill itself, the grill is great, and fits perfect. Now that the inserts are available I will have to get one in a couple months once I get to Oklahoma. I am about to PCS from Hawaii and ship my car next week as it is. Thanks.

I'm not sure about the R/T badge because I have an SXT & I don't like badges. I know that when Mo posted the first pics of this insert he had an R/T badge on it in one picture. I think that I saw another car with this insert and an R/T badge. Either way as you can see this grille looks more OEM and even if it doesn't just snap in...you will find a way to make it work.
Notice the dimple at the bottom center of my grille? This can be avoided by either using a thin pice of aluminium accross the bottom between the bumber and the grille as others have done or making sure that you take out enough of the vertical support. That dimple has gone away on mine since this pic because I trimmed more of the vertical piece when I installed my insert.

i had a similar issue with the slatted inserts for my cuda style grille - i was hoping they would just snap into the grille but they didnt, i ended up having to use some fiberglass to hold them in - other then that i think Mo's products are absolute works of art.

I may just have t5o do that once I get there. I will be at Ft Sill for about 3 years. Bought a new house in Elgin, tiny little town but seems real nice. I wont be out that way until July though.
I personally thought the mesh was cheap at first as well but once I got it on I loved it. I Dremmiled out the stock mesh that was in the hood scoop piece as well. Matched it to the deep dish mesh. I love it. Not worried about how long it will last either because it was so easy to install. JB weld baby. If you can knead clay you can JB weld. I also used it to reinstall the badge. Here's a link to my installhttp://www.chargerforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=92680

I think toy was trying to be funny because it kind of sounds like an adult film movie title...
