so i figured we should start planning the next meet.. what day would work best for everyone? and does anybody have any ideas about where they would like to meet up? meeting at anyplace with food is always a good thing. lets get this one rolling so hopefully we can have a big turnout!

Sorry I didn't make the last one. I'm up for somewhere you can eat and maybe have liquid refreshments.

I vote either In-n-Out again, or else Big Dog's or somewhere else where we can get some attention, plenty of parking, and some good food.
Maybe some weekday evening (like 8pm) or else either weekend day around 12 noon... If we do a weekend day, we'll probably get more out-of-towners, like from Dublin and Pleasanton and San Francisco, etc.. Then again, we could just rep the south bay and have a meet anytime.. :D

what about the warf in santa cruz?? anybody like that idea?? but In&Out burger is f-in tasty.. hahaha.. im thinking about april 1st as a meeting date.. how does that work for everyone? if that works then all we need to do is decide on a meeting place.. and if anybody is a member of LXforums maby you could spread the word over there too!

Santa Cruz is not exactly the bay area. Wild Style C.C. meets on the second Friday evening of every month if ya wanna check it out? It rained on our last meet and only 3 members showed up at In N Out in Pleasanton. There is an In n Out in Union City with other eating establishments near by. We have gotten together there many times and there is a lot of traffic going by to get attention from. If you want a bay area location that is? John works on Saturdays so that would be out for him unless it was in the evening. If you ever want to check out our meet n greets check out our club forums and come hang out with us. I agree Santa Cruz isn't central for everyone, so lets just have 2x the meets in 2x the locations and be happy.. :D
I'm down for Santa Cruz or San Jose or both :) Is the SC boardwalk warm enough yet though? If so, that sounds fun. For San Jose meets, I think places like In-n-Out or Big Dog's or maybe downtown San Jose @ San Pedro Square - Peggy Sue's diner.. :)
We also should begin planning a BBQ -- Mount Diablo would be a prime location.. A few miles above the tri-valley area in Walnet Creek. What a view and AWESOME aerial shots are a plenty.. :D

I just joined a short time ago and have not found a club or people to meet from searching the internet, i am glad i found this area to meet people and cars in person,
I look forward to meeting some new friends if thats alright with everyone,
Question for Wild Style, are you open for regular cars as well to come to the friday night meet, i looked at your site and your members are pretty modified and did not want to be out of place,
Thanks,

You are most definately welcome to join Wild Style. My car, the PT cruiser is probably the most modified car in the club. We do have Bone Stockers and a lot of the In the Works Cars. You do not have to have a show car to be Wild! Please join us and lets talk cars~~~

Just a thought, how bout at go-kart racer. They don't have a big food menu, just snacks but have a lounge area with TV's broadcasting nascar or formula one and a pair of pool tables and some racing games.
Here is the website http://www.gokartracer.com
They are in Burlingame, off the Milbrae Exit on 101.
The parking seems ok for a semi-large group. Here is a satellite view of the location.
If you are not a member, you will need to join if you would like to race.
They have 20 min. practice session for 20 bucks and 10 min Qualifying followed by ~25 min race for 50 bucks.
On sundays after 5 pm, both track are made into one.

Hey this is Terri and I am the President and co-founder of Wild Style.
A BB-Q is already scheduled if you want to just join in with Wild Style. The more cars and people the better. Our location is still in the voting stage but the date is set. If you decide you would like to do this out on your own that is cool, Wild Style is willing to attend as well.
Putting things together is a lot of work and if you are stating that we should start planning a BB-Q, does that mean you are going to plan it all? Something to think about. I am just stating this because I have been into car clubbing for 10+ years and have been running Wild Style for three years. It takes a lot of organization and if we all pull together as one vehicle/club we can make it an awesome happening!
If this sounds like something that is of interest to anyone, please, by all means, check us out. Wild Style Forums are locked for members only but all you have to do is register for the forums and you're in! No membership fees or dues. We are run on a donation basis. Check us (http://wildstyle.conforums.com/)out!
Oh, and by the way.... I always use the purple text color on the forums here and John is in black. Just so you can tell who is responding to the threads.

a BBQ sounds great.. i might not of been car clubbing for 10+ years, but i have clubbed a few baby seals. does that count? ahhh hahaha JK.. anyway a BBQ at mt. diablo sounds like a winner to me. how does april 22nd sound to everone?

a BBQ would be fun :) I'll bring a football to kick around and a soccer ball to toss.

Some other ideas:
- Bowling
- Speedring/Karting
- Beach Boardwalk
- Alcatraz
- Track Day
- Drag Strip Night
- Poker Night
Oh and we ought to plan a North meets South event.. Pismo Beach, CA - about 1/2 way between SOCAL and NORCAL. Plan a huge meet for the summer, with a big BBQ/Picnic, all the cars caravan from NORCAL down and from SOCAL up and we have like 100 cars show.. :)
Anyways, lots of things we can do, just gotta pick dates and do some planning. No big deal.
I think Mount Diablo, though, is probably going to be a little too cool for a BBQ this time of year, so let's plan to do that one this summer. :)

Poker night? reminds me of that old joke. about the house.. and the punch line is "Liquor in the front and poker in the rear"
well I might be able to meet up and some point with people from the bay area. I am not 100 percent sure.. just depends on the day.

ok then how about a meet at vasona park in los gatos on April 22nd at noon? we can save the big meets for the summer time, but meeting at the local park is kinda fun.. bring your kids if you got em.. everyone bring your own lunch and or food to BBQ and we can just shoot the shyt.. i think its 5 bucks to get in the park so it wont break the bank for those of us that owe on our stupid taxes this year.. cheap+easy+centraly located+chargers = fun

Hello Terri,
Thanks for the invite to the club “Wild Style” I will definitely be joining your club,
I just got married on the 26th and would like to go to the picnic at the park, I like it there and it is a good location for a meet,
Only draw back to that day is I may be visiting my dad in Arizona that day along with going on a short honeymoon, depends if my new wife can get the 20 and 21st off.
I will let you know if there will be one more for the BBQ,
If I can’t make it I look forward to your next meet,
Thanks

I guess she is better than having an old wife , hehe
Actually I mentioned new wife since we just got married,
To bad she is not into cars, but at least she tries to accept my car hobby,
The Pasture put the acceptance of my car hobby in our ceremony, she and the people in the crowd who know me laughed when he brought this up,

Well, when I said small I meant it. Ordered some decals from streamlinedesign.com to cover up those ugly warning labels on the visors. Put those on the other day. $12 and 2 minutes ( well once they came in the mail ) and it looks a lot better. Check out the website. Also ordered some red HEMI decals to put on my calipers. Waiting for this weekend to paint calipers black, then the red decal. Got my rims yesterday, slapped em on. WOW!
Can't wait to show em off. See you folks at Vasona.

Well, I was thinking about coming to this, but I shall be out of town :( I would love to meet some fellow Charger owners and talk about cars and mods. Maybe even meet that Black Charger R/T owner that I drive by all the time on I-80 heading in or out of Sacramento. If that guy is part of this board, your car looks nice.
Last sighting was on Thursday the 6th in the rain around 6:30 am.
