Chin spoiler question.

I did my own installation of my chin spoiler using a plastic rivet tool that my body shop friend loaned me. He also gave me a bunch of screw in type plastic fasteners in case I wanted to use them. I gave my spoiler a little extra strength by adding a few extras in between the factory attachment locations.

My question is this........
at the very tip ends of this chin spoiler there are holes, however in the installation instructions those holes are not shown as an attachment point.
Anyone know what the purpose of those holes are?

There is a slightly larger gap between the curved end of the spoiler compared to where it attaches across the rest of it. Not really noticeable but there.
Should I use those holes out at the tip with a fastener to pull it up tighter?

If you think there is too much of a gap, go for it, shouldn't hurt anything. As long as your happy with the end result, all that matters.

My concern is that there is not as much room for the fastener at that location. Has anyone else attached theirs at that very end hole?

Hey Al, chill out! The post is not worthless because ANY person who installed their chin spoiler knows exactly what I am talking about. This doesn't require pics....it only requires knowledge from others who have done this mod themselves.

As far as worthless posts go......yours was a waste of time and space.

good question...

i have 3g's right now, waiting on 3 more, i'm going to pay about half of my CC. Then, i'm probably going to wait till sometime between aug. and oct. to get it, see what the 07's got to offer, not much i know. I hope they keep inferno red though. Also, going to try and save a bit more money, plus by that time my credit should be concidered excellent, it'll be about 5yrs... woo hoo, i think right now my credit score is around 700 :grin:
