If you want opinions, I don't really like it. Scoop is too tall and takes away from the car's lines. I also don't care for black cars with black wheels. I find that look boring. But if it's what floats your boat, that's all that matters.

Love the hood. Looks ver mad max:) I really never liked black cars with black wheels....or black wheels at all. I have to say that the Charger is the one car that has changed my mind. Your car is awesome!! I love it.

he does not seem to have that hood on the website. The one they have has a divider down the middle of the scoop.

This isn't meant to be an insult, if you take it in that sense...
But that car would be a sweet police cruiser... I would actually want to get pulled over by that!

...Scoop is too tall and takes away from the car's lines....
If we were talking about a low-slung sports car like a Vette, I might be inclined to agree with you. But the Charger is, by comparison, not what I'd call "sleek". Sure it has beautiful lines and a DC of only 0.33, but at 58.2" tall it's similar in height to the 300 and Magnum, wears a near vertical front facia, and stands a full 5" taller than the late 60s Charger from which it earned its namesake.
But as you've pointed out, it's personal preference. I love all black vehicles....very cool. Especially if there is a lot of color under the hood.

your hood is awesome man, i can even see the attraction for the HEMI (painted?) on the hood. the large pinstripes look like the decals from the daytonas.

Now if that hood doesn't grab the sh** out of air and ram-rape it into the engine, nothing else will:lol: . Mean, just mean looking. Anyone found a price yet? But then again, I think it was mentioned that this was a "limited production" hood.
I like it. More olderschoolish than the SRT or Ramair imo. How much? Does it come painted? Any side pics?

I'd check under the hood weekly for dead birds, cats, small dogs, ferrets etc...because that scoop is f*cking huge. I'm not really into the look but I do respect the effort and if you're happy with it, rock it.

From what I recall the limited production status was a little misunderstood. I think the intention was to make like 10 x more then the original poster thought. I dont recall the exact price but I know it was well under what every other hood out there was. The price may have chenged by now though.

i called and left a messege. about a week later he called me back and left a messege with a different number. Says the number on the site goes straight to voicemail and it takes him awhile to get around to all the voicemails.
He did mention that they had stop production because they changed to a different manufactor and would start reproduction after the 1st of October and would only start taking orders then.
If my absent mind can remember ill post the number he gave me. Said someone might actually hear it to pick it up.
And no, i havent talked to him yet to get a price quote.
