370 HEMI
05-01-2009, 04:26 PM
With everyone being bummed out about the Chrysler bankruptcy, we thought we would help brighten up things with a 10% discount to the charger forums for the month of May. With money being tight, this was our best thing to do to help all who are having trouble right now.
This is for all of our product line so order whatever you want.
ACES Fuel Products
ACES-Best Grease on the Planet
QuantumBlue Lubricants
QuantumBlue Coolants
QuantumBlue Steering System Lubricant Catalyst
QuantumBlue Fabric and Vinyl Protectors
QuantumBlue Fabric and Vinyl Cleaners
QuantumBlue Waxes
Maybe we can't do anything about the fact that Chrysler is in Chapter 11, but we sure can band together and protect the cars that they once made!!
Thanks
Brian

That is a good question. The ACES IV has a minimum of a 5 year shelf life. I am still using a gallon of ACES IV that is 8 years old for my 69 Charger. I don't drive it that much, and just keep it in the trunk.
No worries though.
Thanks

What would oil cost for my ride ?
I switched to Mobil 1 5w20 about 2k ago when I had the heads/cam done.
I seem to be losing about 1 qt per 1k miles since then.
Will your oil change that ?
Please PM or reply here with info and a quote :)

The normal price for the oil is 13.95 per quart but with the 10% discount it is 12.56 per quart. That is a savings of 1.39 per quart.
So I would suggest a 7.5w23 like we have done for many MDS 5.7 Hemi cars that work really well. This is the same blend that I did for Thumper07 that contributed to the elimination of the "hemi tick" and the knocking that he was getting. Also highly suggested to get the ACES IV to help the upper end as well.
All together, IF you went with the ACES IV and the oil (assuming the quart of ACES IV that treats 192 gallons)
12.56 x 8 = 100.48 (10K change) + 62.96 (69.95 -10%) = 163.44 + shipping charge. We are in the Cleveland Oh area and ship via FedEx ground so no worries.
On the oil usage issue, because we have a much higher vapor threshold than what you get with Mobil 1, I believe that we would greatly reduce or eliminate the usage.
Give me a call Monday if you wish and we can discuss further.
Thanks for the question!

It is suggested that you keep the squeeze bottle in the center console if you have a small bottle. We can provide an 8 oz squeeze with any order if it is more convenient for you to use. The less in the car in the trunk is probably better. It is not Flammable but it is combustible. Safety is utmost here but it only has a vapor pressure of 1.4 so it is not like gasoline which is 14 psi vapor pressure.
Those who purchased a gallon got at least 1 eight oz squeeze bottle right up front.
LMK
Thanks

Brian, I bought a quart of ACES IV and am in need of more soon. I also had spillage issues in my car. The little cap didn't close right and I lost a total of about 3-4 ounces before I even noticed. I always want to carry ACES IV with me so I had to put the bottle in one of my workboots, which I put in the net in the trunk and used it's laces to tie it up securely (and upright). Now, no more spills!!!

I got you there. The 8 oz squeeze bottle fits BEAUTIFULLY in the center console right in the lower level spot right in the back of the armrest.
Several napkins, a cloth for protection and misc junk and it's all good.
We traditionally gave out the 8 oz with the gallon just to make transport easier but when people have to resort to workboots.....yikes!
Sorry you lost 3-4 oz but.............hey you need to buy more faster....me, thats a good thing. :biggrinjester:
Just learning to make things easier for everyone. I always like to hear positives or if necessary the negatives so that we can make things better.
Please indicate here or in a pm what you want next and when you want it so that we can get it across the "continental goal line" with plenty of time for you NOT TO RUN OUT.

Hehehe... Yes, I had to resort to my workboots. 'Workboots' is a big term for boots that have been in my trunk for the last 6 months...very little work happening with them right now!!! I'll let you know by the end of the week...as I just got off the phone with unemployment. They should FINALLY make a decision on my claim by Wednesday!

How long does it take from order to delivery for your engine oil?

How long does it take from order to delivery for your engine oil?
MR-SMITH,
Generally it takes 2 days to process the engineering and ship it out the second day. Every once in a while we have to order raw materials that may take an extra day sometimes two, but generally 2-3 days.
If I remember correctly, you are in Tennesee so it wouldn't take more than 4 days from time of order to your door. Figure 2 days engineering and 2 days shipping from Ohio.
Just let me know and we can discuss. Since we have been getting many more orders than normal, we have upped our bottle stock, and raw materials stash to deal with the increased traffic. Some people are now on their 3rd and 4th order.
Thank you everyone for your support and the kind words that have been emailed and spoken verbally. We will continue to support this forum and our Charger obsession.
Regards,
Brian.

MR-SMITH,
When you are ready, let me know and we can work together to protect your car in a way no other oil can.
Also on your question, GEN XER did about a year ago because he was skeptical of our oils. He now uses us in his SRT8 300C, RS6 twin turbo Audi, VR6 Volkswagen, Scion XB etc.

Well one of the best things about the QuantumBlue Vinyl and Leather Protector is that once you put it on, it stays that way. When spending 6-8 hours detailing a car for a show and then when I pull it out of a garage it looks just as good as when I did it yesterday.

what are your thoughts on 303 products (marine)?
BOSChargerRT,
The 303 products are ok and do work acceptably. However, they do not put enough UV stabilizer in it for my liking. We manufacture something that is much stronger and works better and basically lasts longer in comparison. I also want more Ozone protector than what they contain.
I have used them and comparatively they are better than most.
Thanks
