Ne Ohio Meet & Greet

Well old man winter is finally over, well least it is according ot the calender.
Today 3-20-06 is the first day of Spring.
With that said I would like to get a Meet and Greet put together.

I will hold this M&G on Sunday 4-23-06 starting @ 3:00 pm sharp.
It will be held at OTTO's Restaurannt & Lounge;
4112 State Rte 43; Brimfield, Ohio 44240.

CHANGE OF PLANS FOR MEETING...
SUMMIT RACING is holding its first Cruise in of the 2006 year on Monday, MAY 1st at 6:00pm until 8:30pm.
SUMMIT RACING is located at 1220 Southeast Ave, in Tallmadge, Ohio. This is off of I-76 at Exit 29.

Let's move the meeting there, that way we can SHOW OFF of CARS to everyone.
Let me know your thoughts----come on guys post up

The First one for all MOPAR will be Monday, June 19, 2006.
So if the first one works out then we can all get together on that date.

I would like to get either one going---just trying to get some interest is hard to do. The weather is still playing with some of the forum members, as they keep their cars parked in bad weather.

But I will indeed call you tommorrow and get it set up with you. What time is good to call ???

Marietta is about 3.5 hours, one way. If you would like, you could stay the night at our house on that Monday...Just look on a map for Tallmadge, Ohio.

Brickyard, I would gladly let you take the HEMI for a test drive, there are some restrictions of course, nothing over 80 mph, no racing around turns, and I go with you.

NOW that's a great idea---go to love roller coasters. Don't forget that Geauga Lake is real close to Summit Racing as well. It is located in Aurora, Ohio.

You still in of retired? I just retired E-7 Army last Sept and came back here to Baghdad to work for the Corps of Engineers. I was telling everyone I should be home for the M&G. It's tearing me up knowing you all are riding and moding and all I can do is order and wait till June to do all mods:(

I got out in 95 as an E-5. I did 6 years,wish I would have stayed in. I would have had 17 years in. I got out during the Clinton cut backs so I probably wouldn't have been able to stay in anyhow. Congrats on the retirement!!

We made it back home safe and sound from our trip to DC.
I had a good time there but it was way to crowded for me.
Most items were way overpriced, like the hotel, parking, and gas.
I saw one gas station that had premium at 3.099 per gal....(wow)

But all said and done I am still glad we went.

Now back on subject---come on guy and girls can you make the 5-1-06 Meet and Greet ???

Well I took CHERRY to the car wash this afternoon and washed the motor compartment, the body, dried it all off, and then went home and swept it out real well including the trunk. Then I took off all the coil packs and cleaned each one fo them, cleaned the valve covers with 303, and the intake manifold. Man does that make them shine. Tommorrow I will do the rims and the interior with 303.

I also have to take PAT (my Gold 89 Ply Acclaim LE) and do the same to it as well. I hope to see many Chargers, 300, and Magnums there.

Make sure you bring a lawn chair or something to sit on.......

But at least you got a kick arse parking spot. Thanks Chuck and Beth for that nice spot. Great meeting everyone there and I will post the few pics I took in a bit.

We had fun as well. Love that pic of the TB and Gmg from the back. Oh and "Cherry" was looking good too. Did you guys notice any 35 year old Chargers? I didn't see any, but at least the new-borns were out tonight.

When we left some kid in a SHO Taurus tried to be cool by flooring it towards the freeway. Of course we kept our cool by slowly pulling away. We caught him at the left to get on the freeway and he floored it again on the ramp. I got pissed when I had to drive through all that black and gray engine smoke! Typical f.o.r.d.

She was wearing a red shirt as was my son...he is the one in the 2nd pic looking under the hood of your Charger. She drove her SXT but parked in the general public parking for the store.
