(time, date, location) and if so would any body care to turn it into a M&G&D?? oh and thats short for Meet & Greet & Drink.. oh and i did do a little searching on line for info about the show but i wasent realy sure where to look.. :headbang:

And does anyone know if we have to show that Friday in order to show Saturday? I don't know if the wife could put up with me showing both days --- ALTHOUGH I'm sure she'd love the oppty to go shopping all day in Monterey hahaha..

Last show I was in was Hot Import Nights up here in the Bay Area. We had to leave/lock our cars in their warehouse the night before -- didn't allow anyone showing to drive in the morning of plus most ppl wanted a few hours to setup and clean and couldn't open up that early in the morning)..

I told work that I have a family reunion in Florida ( the only thing I could think of off the top of my head) But I have an event to be at that Fri Sat and Sun. For the Bay Area folks, let's all caravan down. I think the best way would be to meet up somewhere in San Jose.

If we want to go down 101 (easiest), we could meet at the Chevy's parking lot on Almaden at 85. From there we could either head down on the FWY or else hit up the fun back roads down Almaden and Harry and Santa Teresa Blvd. Then it's 101 down to 156 down to Monterey.

If we did this caravan, we'd have to do it Friday night, since many of us are staying over. I don't know if we'll do Embassy Suites -- We just saw it is $259 a night.. *eek*

BTW, post up if you ARE staying over the night so we know who all would be caravanning down.

yea im goin suckas!!! whooop--deee-whooop!! hahaha!! sorry ive been so busy at work ive only loged on once in the last week and a half!! muy loco!! im down to caravan over there.. and ill stay friday night and i might stay saturday night too.. i mean how can you go wrong drinking margaritas in monterey! but im gonna need to keep working lots of hours so i can get more mods on my car before the show so i can enter it.

Yeah black with the honeycomb insert. Ill put it on after my road trip. I leave tomorrow. I ordered the 3rd brake light cover that says charger on it and i get my tint done in 2 weeks. I just trying to come up with more money for more mods. I want the K&N CAI done before the show too. i dunno we'll see.

Good, stay w/the black one cause it just makes that front-end look meaner. show some pics for the third brake light when your done. I know what U mean with more mods I have the same "BUG",,,,,I can't wait to get my spoiler and get it installed. If you want some HID kit, I can get a good price from whatsurdream in SoCal. Maybe we'll run into each other on HWY 5, we are headed down also to six flag tomorrow. Be Safe.:D

I don't recall seeing any new LX Chargers actually in the show. Our club had a small turn out for the drive down and it looked like not a lot of people knew of this meet or decided to come if they did know. In fact there were only two or three Magnums in the show and I think one 300. There were some really awesome older Mopars and of all the groups, the PTs had the biggest turn out.

I took the bike down there. I enjoyed the cars but found the show disappointing - quite small and the food wasn't very good.

There were 2 300C SRT-8s. The silver one is on the forum(s) w/ the home-made CAI and stock airbox and the muffler removed (Chargers don't have the muffler). It would have won it's class if it was cleaned up better. It was the only one w/ the hood up. Nice guy, too.

Too many PT Cruisers. Only 2 Vipers. Not very many Hemi-motored cars.

Next weekend will be better.... ;)

I didn't see a caravan but did you happen to see a purple Harley w/ 2-up doing about 85mph northbound on Hwy 1?

Anyone hitting the shows/races/auctions this weekend? It's the best in the world, no exaggeration!

Wow, that is a lot of stuff.

We did the 17 mile drive at Pebble Beach in June and this was the next event this past weekend. I think we're going to Reno next, and there's a San Francisco drive in the works.
