Got a question for everyone. Currently I have the Continental P225/60R-18 BSW Touring Tires on my R/T which I'm sure a lot of you do. Currently Michelin doesn't offer anything in this size range and I wondered if I changed the size from 225 to 235 or 60 to 50, do I have to have the computer flashed. Not sure how changing out the OEM tires would effect the computer.

tirerack.com
They have an upgrade section that explains upsizing, it's benefits, drawbacks, and issues.

1010tires (http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp) has a nice calculator that includes what wheel size the tire will fit on 18x7.5 on the R/T. That comes in handy.
Their search "filter" feature is nice too.
stock my R/T has conti 225/60R18
the Daytona/RTperformance has 235/55R18 on the same wheel. There seems to be a GOOD deal more tires in this size.

There are some nice 255/45-18 out there as well, you can get the computer reflashed if you know the revolutions per mile of the new tire...

I'm guessing you would have to take it to the dealer to have the computer reflashed?

ok don't laugh, but does anyone know where I can get white raised letter tires for my R/T? I can't find them online anywhere.

I haven't been able to find them anywhere either, but I found tire letter paint/chalk at http://www.jcwhitney.com/autoparts/Product/showCustom-0/Pr-p_Product.CATENTRY_ID:2000766/c-10101/Nty-1/p-2000766/Ntx-mode+matchallpartial/N-10101/tf-Browse/s-10101/Ntk-AllTextSearchGroup?Ntt=letter. I've used this a few times, it seems to work good to highlight the black lettering on the tires you already have. I was planning on doing it to the Michelins on my Daytona (when it finally comes in...)

Could you post a pic when you do? I'd like to see what that looks like on the Michelins.

The only color I've ever been able to find is white . It would be kind of cool to find a color that matches the car's paint.

Kumho curently offers their ecsta asx in a 245/50-18 or a 255/50-18 that is within a tenth of an inch in height, but is 3/4 inch wider at the contact patch... should really wake up the handling..

Goodyear actually has Eagle tires with the NASCAR logo on them in "white race-style lettering." I'm sure you could find yellow paint and redo the lettering.
