I tracked it online on NASCAR.com... I have it taped at home on my DVR so I'll be watching it, rewinding it, slow motion replays, then watch it again...

Check the past nascar posts and you will see my prediction that Kahne would give Dodge it's first Charger win in Nascar Nextel series!

We will also go on to to be a strong contender in the top 10 at the end of the season in the race for the chase!

IT'S SETTLED. KASEY KAHNE IS 'DA MAN!

A while back, I sent some pics and stuff of Kasey's first win in Richmond down with a close friend of the family to see if she could get it signed. She and her husband live in NC, and is friends with Kasey's uncle. A looooooong time has passed, but it's understandable...our friend suffered a heart attack a while back (she back to 100% now, by the way). Any way, we get a call tonight and she tells us that not only did Kasey sign the stuff for me...he delivered it PERSONALLY to her house. :D

Not too many guys would do that for someone they don't know, and especially when they aren't reimbursed for their trouble.

Anyway, I just had to share. It's nice to see guys like him in the sport. He definitely has a fan for life!

Nice to see that we agree on something! Yes, as I mentioned in other posts, Kasey is one of the nicest and most genuine people you will ever meet. The time that my young son and I spent visiting with him when he was still in the sprint car ranks was very enjoyable. He's a very talented young man with a heart of gold and very personable. He will be a NASCAR Champion some day and he'll serve the sport well.

the charger is actually favored to win a race....how long as it been since dodge was favored to win a race? pretty awesome.

kahne is great. everything i read and see about him just seems to reinforce how excellent he is and your heart felt story chargersxt reinforces my beliefs in him.
