I was especially interested in the "Bushwhacked" section. Has anyone heard anything else about this? Comments?

Yeah, all the Busch series folks are crying about having so many Cup drivers racing in their series! I say, get over it!

If I respond, I'll sound old.

In a nutshell, I'm tired of all the cup drivers in the Busch series too.

Ask those people sitting in the stands on Saturday in their expensive seats if they are tired of seeing cup drivers? I think you'll find that they LOVE the fact that they are there!

I think changing the cars is a great idea! Good for the manufacturers to push a second model. Good for nascar to differentiate the series.

With the limited testing right now, there are too many cup drivers in the busch races. I think they should find some way to limit it, either with only the 5 fastest cup drivers making the busch field, or each cup driver only allowed to compete in 5 busch races.

When I go to a race, I go for the weekend, Fri - Sun. I enjoy watching new talent get their chance in the busch race. I'll watch the busch race whether there are cup drivers or not. Heck, I went to PPIR for years, and there were rarely any cup drivers there.

I don't see it changing one bit as far as cup drivers in Busch. It ain't broke so why fix it? If the up and coming want real world racing, they've got it. If they can't run with the big dogs, stay on the porch! If they want to prove themselves and show that they deserve to step up to the big show, then running hard and finishing well with other proven performers will get them there that much quicker. Wanna be's become stars by dealing with the competition.....it's that simple.

From the rumors that I have heard from yahoo sports in the past, don't put much faith in them. For the most reliable rumors try www.jayski.com .
Anyhow, I'm not saying that the manufacturers won't revert to smaller cars, just that it sounds highly unlikely. With Cup switching to the COT, there should be enough diference in the cars that the Busch race is no longer a glorified Cup test session. Also if the Cup cars are unsafe and need a larger greenhouse, then wouldn't the Busch cars be unsafe aswell?
