What is the best method to remove vinyl graphics without damaging the paint? Does applying low heat help in softening the adhesive?

Thanks in advance.

I believe you can get a hair driver and peel it off, thats what i did for the dealer decal...but try to do a search

Yes, heat will ease the removal. Just start at one corner and go SLOW. When you finish, use good quality adhesive remover (3M) or tar remover to remove the remaining glue. . Be sure to wax the area as the adhesive remover will also take the wax off.......

My dealer put his vinyl graphics on the black vinyl graphic on the car... Is there a way to get this off ! I'm afraid to start peeling off that blackout graphic back there since it might tear it ?

Yes, a LITTLE heat and fingernail on the corner should start it. BUT don't use the adhesive remover on any remaining glue on the blackout on the car. WD 40 should remove anything left..

Take it back to the dealer and tell them to get it off or you'll be invoicing them for the advertising. Go to the 3M vehicle graphics website and you can get all the specs you want on the power and value of advertising on vehicles. Large and small.

The adhesive on the dealer sticker is probably stronger than that of the Black vinyl on the car. There's a good chance the black will be marked no matter what you do. Even if you get the sticker off, you'll probably end up polishing the finish of the black when you're scrubbing off the glue residue.

A hairdryer will do the trick but takes awhile. A proper heat gun is much better but a light touch is required as you can soften the paint as well.
