Hey, I haven't had a chance to actually sit in a charger yet, but I'm sure I'm going to get one. I'm just wondering which interior is a darker color: Dark Slate Gray / Light Graystone OR Dark/Light Slate Gray.
Although on the dodge website the first one looks darker on the little icon, the representative picture above looks lighter than the other one.
I want to get a black car, and I think the darker interior would go well inside.
Thanks.

Thanks. If you want the darker of the two choices, go with the Dark/Light Slate Gray. Based on KBB information, that option is "MLDB" (for the R/T that is). ML** refers to the Leather Seats (and Leather wrapped Steering Wheel) and **DB refers to the D/L SG color choice.
This is based on looking at the Charger Brochure (large version) and KBB information I saved from online into a spreadsheet.

Anybody know when the Dodge folks are going to wise up and give you an option to not have a cheesy 2 tone interior? Perhaps the R/T does not have this. I think this this cheapens the car immensely.

My RT is two tone...I don't think it looks bad though, it adds character.

Go with Dk/Lt Slate Gray interior.
Then your Charger will not look "CHEESY"

An even better question: When is DCX going to offer synthetic leather or cloth on the R/T? Just as an option...even an upgrade. Stupid that you're locked into one thing. My dealer said I could trade out for SXT seats, but if I get the R&T package, I'm losing a big part of that package.
SUCKS.

Why on Earth would you want vinyl?

It lasts longer, looks better, and isn't made of skin. But I'd prefer a nice cloth to both.

I agree with you, I like a nice cloth instead of leather. Unfortunately my SXT was only available in Leather so I took it, hence why i got the remote starter installed before i even picked up the car.

I like leather because it is much easier to keep clean. When my kids spill stuff I can just wipe it right up.

Yeah, that's true...but here's another counterpoint: My dad's 94 Ram Cummins still looks like new (original cloth). I just saw a 95-era Mustang a week ago that had original leather in it, and it looked like total crap. It was all discolored and cracked, and smashed down.
Granted, we're comparing a Cummins Turbo Diesel, one of the greatest trucks ever made, to a Rustang, but I digress.
Both materials have their pros and cons, but personally, I find it idiotic that Dodge won't at least provide cloth on the R/T as an option. As I've always said "I don't want a stupid sh|t tax."
