Found all the Chargers!

After not seeing all that many here in TX, I now know where they all are....just got back from a 2500+ mile round trip to Florida and saw at least 50-60 on I-10, I-75 and Ft Myers. Even saw a dark red Daytona! Had to do a double take on that one...nice clone.

Anyway, did this trip after loading the Superchips Flashpaq. Did the 87 octane tune, torque management and increased shift points. Overall, noticeable difference. Still had about half a tank of 89 left when I filled it with 87. Gas mileage was around 25 mpg doing 75 mph. Once I emptied that tank and went straight 87, mpg dropped to around 21.5 or so.

Overall great trip in the car, even with the trunk packed, and three passengers.

Now I have to try the 91 octane tune!

Took a road trip to Houston in my SRT8 and got 21.5 doing 75mph most of the way. Apparently they hadnt seen too many SRT8's there as people were hanging out of their windows giving me the thumbs up for the car. Man did I like that. :)

Im in LA, and surprizingly only seen about 5 chargers, with only like 1 being RT with Hemi. Still havent seen a SRT-8. I was chilling out at a Mcdonalds eating the other day, and a mitsibish parked up got off the car and was checking out my RT for about 2 minutes almost in aw as if it was his first Charger sighting...Makes you feel good.

No doubt. The coolest response I got on the trip was a guy on a Harley passed me and gave me the TACO BELL "good to go" hand gesture. Pretty funny.

21.5 mpg with your SRT-8...if I had known that, I would have bought one instead...oh wait, that's right..couldn't afford that baby!
