I need some help! I am sitting here with my eight year old and he says the sport vents that stick on the back of the car are cool and he wants me to get them. His tatstes are usually pretty good - I ordered the Ram Air hood based on his opinion...he really had to twist my arm though. He did push me on the Bumblebee Stripe and I have to say, I get many positive comments on that. Not a fan but I told him I would base my decision on the majority vote from the Forum. So help Me out!

How about adding a battering ram on the front of your charger?

You would have to find some Super Secret NASA glue to hold them on... our cars are too fast for the standard adhesive!!!

No.
If it doesn't make the car go faster, handle better or stop shorter, it isn't worth getting.

So clarify something for me:
Installing a hood with a non-functional scoop, painting calipers and engine covers is "cool", but non-functional side vents are "rice"?

where do you draw the line?

(for the record, I painted the calipers and some engine components on my last car).

Just read the posts here with my son. He said he didn't know what he was thinking. He thought the Just Say No" comment was cool...didn't get the reference to the Exorcist. We will say no to RICE!

Personally, I would never install a non-functional hood scoop. In fact, I am planning on getting a shaker installed (this summer, budget permitting) that actually pulls air in from outside the engine bay, without the risk of sucking water up from deep puddles. I've never painted brake calipers. The only reason mine would change color is if I could afford to put some Brembos on.
Engine covers... well, that's a touchy one.
As for the engine covers, I'm on the fence about that one. I think Dodge messed up when they left the cover orange when the rest of my Daytona is yellow. In fact, I might just paint it yellow so it matches the rest of the car. As for chrome kits and stickers, they're not my thing.

The most important thing is this, do what YOU want to YOUR car because you have to look at it every day. To quote the facts of life (and a recent Ikea commercial), ".. what might be right for you, may not be right for some..."

The main reason they look so ugly is because it is obvious that they are stuck on. If there were actual holes in the fender, and the vents were deep like the real 'Cuda vents, they might look good.

Really? The Banana engine covers are GoMango? That's just pure laziness on DCX's part.

I like them when tastefully used, but the VAST majority of this board with disagree with me.
