hey guys on saturday my brother bought me a pioneer double din for my birthday.. its the avh-4000.. well i went to my local best buy to buy the interface and installed it my self.. well the problem is that when im listening to music the sound fades to the rear then comes to the front like every 20-30 seconds.. it does this with low volume and high volume.. so what do you guys think is wrong.. is it the interface or the radio itself.. any help whould be really appreciate it..

pull the radio and reverse the rca's to the interface- and if it now fades front than to the back in reverse of what its doing now than you found your problem. if you fade the head unit to the front will it hold the front fade??? if not it for sure is the interface.
the AXXES PIECE YOUR USING is the best one out there but best buy and some of the other big chain stores got a load of the first run piece's and it may be old stock and a defect. if you fade to the front on the radio and it fades to the rear any way the interface is bad. i had one 2 years ago that faded side to side by it self.
