What would I need to get in my charger to play music off my iPhone, in the car?

nope, all you need is an aux cable

so what would that cd player thing detect the iPhone as? would i have to press the CD button to play from the iPhone?

press the cd button twice to get to the aux. and yeah just hook it from the iphone to the car

Could I just use regular aux cable that my surround sound speakers at my home use? The aux can disconnect on both ends, so Im guessing I can use that for the iPhone?

I couldn't find my camera so I had to use my iphone to take the pictures... that's why it's not in the dock.

Anyway, my iPhone sits perfectly in that dock. I've gotten use to the cable running up to the AUX port so it doesn't bother me anymore.

The part on the radio is 3.5 mm and the iphone 3g is the same size jack.

I can't get my Iphone to work wth the VES.
I have the red and whites plugged into the VES
and the correct adapter piece for the IPHONE.
When I select VES mode it plays the DVD in the player, not the music on the Iphone. How can I just get it to play music?
There is no CD button, if I hit mode twice it goes from CD to SAT..
Pleasee help! Thanks
