Everyone who has an 2005-2008 R/T-SRT-8 and wants to do this swap, we have worked with several of the members here and have developed a kit for this swap. The kit consists of using only OEM parts allowing for simple installation. This is a great upgrade for the older 2005-2008 5.7L LX vehicles as well as the 2005-2008 SRT LX Vehicles.



The kit is part number MPK09SRTDIFF. Your cost on this kit is $1177.31 plus shipping.

Description

Upgrade your stock axles to the new larger axles and 3.06 226mm limited slip differential from Mopar. Our kits ues OEM 2009 Challenger SRT-8 Axle Shafts, Hubs, and Differential. This kit is designed using OEM parts to upgrade your LX non STR-8 to use the new Challenger SRT-8 axles, hubs and limited slip 3.06 differential. If you have an SRT-8 you will need to add the following items to complete the swap:

Hmm, I thought the SRT8s already had a 3.06. I know the Charger R/Ts had a 2.82 for RWD and 3.07 for the AWD.

You are correct that the SRT-8 has 3.06 gears. This package will enable you to have stronger axles along with a limited slip differential that the SRT-8 does not currently have.

Aha, thanks for the info. I didn't figure it would be the the old "stimulate the economy by selling you something you already have" trick. :D
