What size deck monitor?

I have a 2007 Dodge Charger and I am looking to upgrade to a screen type deck. What is the universal size that I can fit on this thing?

Most of the screens are 6.5"-7" will both these sizes fit?

I swapped out my stock headunit and put in a pioneer z3, it has a 7inch screen. But i needed to replace my stock single DIN bezel with a nav bezel (double DIN ) which you can purchase from various channels. Ebay, moparsupercenter, or you may get lucky and find someone on the forum selling one as well. Do a search and you'll find plenty of hits.

Okay, Im assuming that a double DIN required to operate the 7"screen deck?
What is the DIN stand for?
And why is a nav bezel required to run a 7"deck screen panel?

Etymology: D(eutsche) I(ndustrie) N(ormenausschuss)

DIN- an association in Germany that sets manufacturing standards, esp. for electronic equipment and photographic film

Nav bezel isnt required to fit double DIN sized units. However it gives a cleaner look to the set-up. Ive seen plenty of cars that had the Non Nav bezel cut to fit their double DIN units, and although they fit and look good, the Nav bezel does look better IMP. I personally got the NAV bezel for my set up.

Plus if you cut ur stock bezel, it needs to be replaced if you wish to go back to the stock radio.

Oh gotchya. So its the panel where the deck inserts into to stay in place.
