Just Got it-Pictures-Shaker Hood

Silver Steel RT with R&T, evic, sirius, shaker hood, daytona grill(full), magnaflows, and 20inch American Racing chrome Rogues. Took awhile to figure out how to downsize the pictures. Installing Rumble bee stripes next week.

Seems like a lot of people don't like the shaker hood, but I think your car looks pretty good with it.

What are the stickers on the trunk? Those aren't dealer stickers still, are they? :jeez:

The dealer stickers have been gone for awhile now, and am thinking about getting rid of the trunk badging, at least the rams head. Got my striping kit from autoguy on this forum, his service was great.

I know this sounds stupid, but outside of catback magnaflow, I dont know. Im still waiting for paperwork from the dealer on all the mods. They outsourced everything to Roman Chariot a local customizer. I gave the dealer website printouts of everything I wanted, and the total cost was just added into the purchase price on my buyers order. Cost for just the exhaust was around 800. Ive provided financing for this dealer group for over 25 years, so I didnt have to worry or barter with them. Got everything at dealer cost, or they know it will come back one way or the other. For less then 5K, I got the wheels and tires, shaker hood, daytona grill, exhaust system, and silverstar headlights. That includes labor as well. If I paid too much, dont tell me.

Just a question. how come it looks like the front of the shaker hood ring looks like it's lifting in the front or warped? I've noticed that on other's. that's the only thing that turns me off on those. Don't get me wrong, it's cool looking, but the seal ring on the hood is a big turn-off.

You guys dont miss a thing. The ring is lifting off in the front. It appears the ring itself is glued on, and is not form fitted for the hood slope. That creates pressure on the front tip. One of my friends noticed the same thing when he first saw the car. Considering re-glueing it myself, or taking a drive back to the dealer. Bought some small clamps and gorilla glue just yesterday.
