This weekend is the California Capital Airshow at Mather Airport. I just thought to throw this out there. It could be a cool M&G place with the airshow (blue angels) and every thing.
Here is the link: http://www.californiacapitalairshow.com/
Gates: open at 10 am.
Rancho Cordova (Sacramento area)
Just a thought.

I don't know. Don't get me wrong I am "not" trying to rain on nobody's parade. It is a good click for you bay area peeps to cruise up here and all.
I just threw this idea out there cause I ran acroos it in the paper today. I just thought "fast" planes (blue angels) "fast" cars (Chargers, Magnums & 300's etc.), ya know?

What day are you going? This is the first I've heard of the show, but I have to work Saturday. I might go up on Sunday, I've got to talk to the wife first. I've never been to an airshow before and I was thinking about taking my oldest son(he's 4 1/2). Do you think he's too young for this? He does love anything mechanical. Let me know. Thanks, Jason.

UM my guess maybe some kind of ear protection. The blue Angels do get very loud and I do not know how close they'll get either.
I know when we saw them in San Francisco for fleet week they got close enough when you can see the pilots head/helmet looking at the crowd. We were also on at the end of a pier too.
41/2 I would say maybe ear protection.

I am also watching the weather too. I don't know how they will advertise if the show will be cancelled or not. I only cause win of this show in the SacBee this morning. They also have a website for this show and I posted it in my earlier post. Besides that flyer and the website info that is the best info I have.
Weather permitting Sunday will be hte day I go also.
