What is the deal with this? Has anyone actually paid for this update from Navteq? According to http://www.wkjeeps.com/Mygig_parts.htm#MAPUPDATE , the most recent update is from March 2009, Application version: U0035-0070-901. Is there anyone that has this map update, that wants to sell it for a reduced price? The 2008 one has updates for both of the counties I mainly travel through, imagine that. If no one has this, guess I might have to go to the dealership, or order it from navteq. Any suggestions?

Ask this question in the MyGig modification website........I think you may get more specific answers.....not that you can't get your answer here, but it's another spot to ask...

Like MaansMan said, http://mofv.com/mygig/ with give you instructions for downloading the software and installing it... I am upgrading from 9.561 to version 9.807
I have the Mygig RER, pretty simple, unzip the file, burn the CD with the instructions that is provided on the Site and insert in CD player.

that's just the software update. not a map update.

I just received my update disk a few days ago. It fixed many of the small errors in my nav database around my local area (Charleston, SC). I did have to give my VIN # when ordering the disk, I wonder if it would work on a different car. I would be willing to sell my update disk but I have my doubts on if it would work on a car with a differnt VIN #.

Won't your dealer update your mygig for free for the first 3 years?

not to my knowledge, as far as the maps go. the software itself, yes, probably.
