Hemeee,

I have tired to download this but every time I do it. It does not show everything on the one page. It only shows up to Audio/Video on the bottom of the page. Maybe I am doing it wrong. I think that it needs to be reformated. The spacing is all off.

Thanks and sorry about this...

The form downloaded OK, but I couldn't seem to edit it without strange spacing and carriage returns. Any hints? Should I just print and fill it out offline? Thanks.

I also seem to be having problems downloading this. After I download it and try to open it I get a message that says "unable to load graphics conversion filter". Anyone feel like helping me? Thanks, Jason.

It's a Microsoft Word document so you actually have to have MS Office installed. Windows will try to use Wordpad if you don't have Office but Wordpad doesn't handle everything in this particular document.

HEMMEEE, maybe we should have a PDF that people can print out and just write on in case they're running into these problems. Might save you a little time in the long run.

I have added a .pdf file for download in Post #1 for those that need it...

Sorry for the difficulty, this was a form I threw together for last Fall's meet and I never went back in to lock form fields and perfect it - no time to do so now. Just fill them out by hand - the only purpose is to ID your car and share any mods you've done so others can inquire! I promise we won't be grading you

LAST CALL ON THE LUNCH LIST...

We now have 304 cars registered -
304 meals will be served... however...
I have ONLY 65 responses to the headcount for guest lunches...
If there is only one of you in the car, you're good to go

Don't make your guests go hungry!
IF you are bringing guests and did NOT YET get your name on the catering list with me, DO IT NOW - I will extend the deadline to 5PM
Otherwise you will need to bring lunches for your guests - the quantity of food prepared is based on the info you give me and once parked at the event you will not be able to leave and re-enter.

HURRY!!!
Thanks

REMINDER:
The food order was finalized on the 16th and cannot be changed.
All Registered participants receive one lunch courtesy of Foothill Ranch, and that participant will receive one ticket at the registration table.
Wrist band and participant badges are required to purchase additional guest lunch tickets - one per person.

IF you pre-ordered lunch for your guest(s) they will be included on the the Catering List at the registration table - please purchase your additional tickets at the time you register. If possible, these participants are asked to have lunch during the earlier part of the serving time - 11:30 to 1:30 - so we may begin selling additional tickets at 1:30 to others who forgot to order if there is enough to continue serving.

The caterer plans for a small percentage more guests than orders placed, and we will most likely have no-shows, but we can only sell additional tickets IF the caterer can accomodate us. We remain optimistic http://www.300cforums.com/forums/images/smilies/new/01.gif but since we cannot promise there will be enough to serve those guests for which there was no pre-order, we suggest you have an alternate plan... bring an ice chest with drinks and snacks just to be safe since you can't leave in your car and return. You could also walk to the Doubletree, but FYI, it is a bit on the pricey side.

Thanks for understanding, we'll see you on the 25th!

HEMEEE

Anyone that is in the area Friday is invited to meet up at the Doubletree Lounge at 7:30-ish...

Volunteers:
At around 8pm all Parking/Traffic Volunteers that are present will pile in a few cars and caravan, or walk, over to the DCX building, which is a long block away. We will walk through the plan on premises. Registration Volunteers are not needed for this field trip, but are more than welcome to join us.... Hope to see lots of you there!

For the Volunteers that will NOT be present, please plan to report Saturday morning between 8:45-9:00AM for a briefing.

Thank you!!

We had two great suggestions made by members that I want to share with you...

FreebirdSRT
has suggested that you may want to have the underside of your hood signed by Ralph, or Adam if you have an SRT.
Have a paint pen with you if you like the idea...

ResumeSpeed
has suggested, for those that would prefer not to have their hood signed, bring your favorite photo of your car for a signature instead.
Have a Sharpie with you if you like the idea...

Great ideas guys, thanks! http://www.300cforums.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif

PLEASE, above all, be respectful of our honored guests!
There will be no times or areas set aside for these types of activities and it will be catch as catch can. They have expressed the desire to wander the event and look at cars and meet people just like you and meee... Please be respectful also of your fellow members by not holding these gentlemen hostage in a long conversation that may prevent them from making the rounds.

Our host, Daimler Chrysler, has asked us to reiterate our "standard" rules, so one more time, may we have your attention to these please...

...NO speeding or burnouts as you enter or leave the area - all cars to be used for driving demos must be parked OFF the premises AND must be driven to/from the area by the owner - you are responsible. This includes chirping tires or any exhibition of speed within sight or earshot... please take it away from the general area
...NO cruising or coming & going Once parked, please do not move your car until you are ready to leave
...NO sound-offs... if you demo your stereo, please make it brief and a reasonable volume
...NO pets
...NO alcohol
They ask us to remind you also..
Help keep the area clean!
As indicated in post #1, please bring a litterbag for your own convenience, then make certain that all garbage goes into the proper container.
Police your area prior to leaving and pick up what you see. The volunteers will have worked long hard hours by that time, please don't expect them to clean up after you!
