I looked around and didn't catch any mention of people running a KB setup. Maybe I missed it...

I thought KB were working to put a blower kit out for these cars. Does anyone know of anybody that's running one?

Thanks,

Rich

There was one at Sema.
A Challenger.
They should be working on one.

They had one on a 2003 Dodge Ram...

...it is STILL "Coming Soon"

I know on thier homepage they talk about Mr. Norm's Challenger and all...but I will believe they have a kit when they are selling them. I wanted one for my truck and was waiting for it to be released, but finally grew tired of waiting and got the Charger. Not going to make the same mistake twice.

that coming soon for the Ram has been on their for years I had a 04 Ram 1500 over 3 years ago when I looked that up and it said the same thing.

There is a kit out now with a 2.4 or 2.9 Whipple, IMHO Whipple is a much better supercharger anyway.

I guess the SMS/Techo and the Whipple are the alternatives that are actually available now...

Redfire, what makes you say that? I thought all the Mustang guys were crazy over the KB setups...

Thats a whole thread just in it's self! :icon_lol:

The Cobra community is pretty much split down the middle with a slight majority leaning towards Whipple. Performance is basically about the same, I personally prefer the looks of the Whipple and Whipple's customer support is much better. I guess one deciding factor for me was the overall arrogance in Kenne Bell's personal post on some of the Mustang boards.

Edit: I may be slightly biased as I do have a 2.3 Whipple on my Cobra but all of the above factors were taken into account before I made that purchase.
